Taste of Chicago: Follow-up

Alana and I haven’t really had a chance to go and eat at one spot TOGETHER.  It’s been a while!  The previous post was promoting the hype behind Taste of Chicago and on Thursday night we decided we would check it out.  We wanted to get a taste for “something new to the Ave.”  Did it live up to it’s rep?

We shared an Italian Combo sandwich and was unfortunately disappointed.  Alana actually ate here once before and she thought she would give it another try because maybe she didn’t order the right thing last time.  Our meat was dry and it just wasn’t flavorful. Alana is a big meat lover so she knows her stuff and she wasn’t impressed with her second visit!  We overheard the couple behind us say it was cut dry too.  Sorry Taste of Chicago!
