If you’re craving good, home-made, Hawaiian food, this is the place to go!  Kona Kitchen caters your every need whether it’s for  breakfast, lunch, dinner or for those late night cravings!  Not only is this restuarant decorated with surf boards and vintage Hawaiian  posters, but the walls are filled with their huge collection of signed celebrity photos. Did I forget to mention that the owner of the restaurant played the role of the  father in Disney’s Johnny Tsunami?

Ok, so they have Hollywood status, but is the food good as their reputation? Yes it is!  Everything I have ordered was de-li-cious.  I personally love their Belgian waffles because they’re soft and fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside. Hits the spot every time. No matter what time of the day it is, I always manage to order their waffles.

If I had to compare Kona to Hawaiian BBQ…I would say, they both have great food!
